ABOUT THE ROLE:
As the Principal Technical Program Manager, you will act as the vital link among engineering, business, and production teams. In response to our rapid growth and the transition of multiple prototype products into full-scale production, your leadership will be essential in facilitating this transformation. You will oversee the integration of new products into our manufacturing processes, ensuring a seamless transition from prototype to production.
Given the dynamic nature of our business, you will need to be a seasoned leader capable of navigating complex cross-functional collaborations. You will dive into the details, focusing on aspects such as parts serial effectivity, inventory management, procurement, and release standards for harness development. Your proactive approach will enable you to identify potential gaps and risks early on, implementing effective solutions. Collaborating with design, sustainment, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams, you will guide the drawing releases, part procurement, and capacity planning necessary for successful product growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Act as the principal interface between business, engineering, and production teams.
- Lead the introduction of multiple new products into the production pipeline.
- Drive the scaling of engineering and production capabilities to significantly increase output within a year.
- Coordinate engineering responses to production requirements, including drawing modifications and part adjustments.
- Prioritize production and engineering resources to meet emerging customer opportunities and fulfill business commitments.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to establish key processes for efficient product management in production.
