DEPT® seeks a Principal Video Editor to lead post-production efforts on standout projects. This position is based in Gran Buenos Aires, Capital Federal, or Mar del Plata, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The role blends creative storytelling with technical skill, shaping campaigns that influence both immediate results and long-term brand identity.

Role overview

This position centers on crafting compelling video content by combining rhythm, sound, and visual effects. The Principal Video Editor works with both classic editing techniques and modern AI tools, supporting a high-volume agency workflow. Collaboration with designers and cross-functional teams is essential, as is the ability to drive innovation while upholding brand standards.

What you will do

  • Shape engaging narratives from creator content and raw footage, using strategies tailored to each platform to increase audience engagement.
  • Work closely with Visual and Motion Designers to integrate advanced UI animations and both 2D and 3D elements into unified video assets.
  • Develop and manage automated templates and scripted workflows, enabling the production of multiple creative variations such as A/B test assets while maintaining quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pitch concepts and balance brand guidelines with experimental approaches for cohesive campaigns.
  • Apply marketing insights to refine edits and update content in response to real-time performance data and audience feedback.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions and client presentations, acting as the technical and creative authority for post-production.
  • Oversee complex timelines and workflows, ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders throughout each project.

Requirements
