About the job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate hands-on expertise in Asset Manager Tool, ServiceNow, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Common Service Data Model (CSDM), and Software Asset and Configuration Management (SACM) processes.

  • Develop, implement, and uphold best practice standards, policies, and procedures for effectively planning, recording, monitoring, and managing both hardware and software assets.

  • Design and execute continuous lifecycle management of configuration items (CIs) to ensure optimal performance.

  • Ensure that SACM processes are compliant with regulations and aligned with organizational standards while being fit for purpose.

  • Take charge of process design, framework creation, and governance initiatives.

  • Identify and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess process efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Oversee new requirements and adjustments to SACM processes as necessary.

  • Coordinate design activities for CI and Asset discovery, integrations, and data import methods.

  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders and business leaders to enhance asset management practices and ensure cost-effectiveness.

  • Support related IT processes including Change, Problem, and Release Management.

  • Conduct monitoring, review, and support audits to ensure adherence to established standards.

  • Provide coaching and advice to CMDB stakeholders to foster a comprehensive understanding of configuration and asset management, particularly its interlinkage with Change Management and other ITIL processes.

  • Represent SACM requirements in Demand Boards, prioritizing process-related IT enhancements.

  • Evaluate and suggest new tools, technologies, and process enhancements to boost IT efficiency and effectiveness.
