About the role
Esri is looking for a Product Engineer to help shape the future of ArcGIS products for developers. This role joins the engineering team in Redlands, CA, focusing on designing, building, and deploying geospatial tools delivered as web services. The team values collaboration and aims for high-quality releases that meet the needs of a wide range of users.
What You Will Do
- Plan, design, test, certify, release, and support ArcGIS Online.
- Work closely with development teams to add new capabilities and improve existing workflows.
- Perform both manual and automated functional testing to assess product quality and readiness, including checks for security, internationalization, and accessibility in new features.
- Gather requirements from users and internal teams, then translate those needs into practical product features.
- Develop conceptual documentation, step-by-step tutorials, and blog posts for new features. Represent user perspectives throughout the product design and delivery process.
