About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and growth-driven Product Marketing Manager to enhance the adoption and expansion of Gusto’s financial products for our Members segment. “Members” refers to employees using Gusto for their payroll, who depend on our mobile-first tools to manage their work-life effectively and gain full control over their paychecks through Gusto checking and savings accounts, budgeting tools, and more. This is a fantastic opportunity to assist over 2 million Members in maximizing their work experiences and launching innovative products from the ground up!
Here’s what you’ll do day-to-day:
- Understand the Market: Analyze unmet customer needs, create customer segmentation, and assess market trends and competition to establish our competitive edge.
- Create Positioning, Messaging, and Packaging: Define our audience, differentiate our value proposition, and develop compelling messaging that resonates with various target groups.
- Deliver Go-to-Market Strategy and Campaigns: Leverage insights to engage target customers throughout their journey, crafting go-to-market strategies that enhance awareness, adoption, and engagement. Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to execute automated multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications, in-app), while partnering with PR, Brand, and Sales to create a unified approach.
- Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to set strategic goals and ensure execution. Monitor progress to guarantee we meet our commitments on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
