Profile Technician / Machine Operator

Join the dynamic team at Highwood USA as a Profile Technician on our 3rd shift (10:50 PM - 7:10 AM, Sunday to Thursday). Our ideal candidates thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, ensuring the safe and efficient production of order-specific profiles from raw materials through to final packaging.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supply the correct materials in the required quantities to the production lines.

  • Execute timely and effective line and equipment start-ups.

  • Operate profile and compound lines following established procedures.

  • Conduct color and tool changeovers efficiently.

  • Perform regular quality checks to meet specified standards.

  • Adjust production lines to align with customer specifications and quality standards.

  • Maintain equipment through daily and weekly preventive maintenance.

  • Carry out basic maintenance tasks, including parts repair and replacement.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Document production metrics, scrap, and operational conditions accurately.

  • Utilize basic computer skills for operational tasks.

  • Operate forklifts safely and effectively.

  • Troubleshoot equipment and process challenges.

  • Package finished products securely.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

  • Undertake other assigned duties as necessary.
