Role Overview

The Program Manager - Specialty Pharmacy will coordinate program strategy and daily operations for pharmaceutical clients. This position reports to the Director of Pharmacy and focuses on refining systems, leading staff, and supporting process improvements. Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills are essential.

Main Responsibilities

  • Monitor call center system performance, troubleshoot issues, and create action plans to improve operations.
  • Establish, track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to patient access, following client contracts and Statements of Work.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop team members by setting expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and enforcing policies.
  • Work with the training department to build and deliver effective training programs, including on-the-spot instruction as needed.
  • Promote a professional, respectful, and transparent team culture.
  • Support organizational goals by taking on new challenges and seeking ways to improve outcomes.
  • Handle escalated calls, complaints, and inquiries as required.
  • Collaborate with call center management to implement programs that improve conversion, compliance, and adherence.
  • Prepare materials and agenda items for client meetings and quarterly reviews.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental and program needs.
