VVB Engineering specializes in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, offering top-notch installation and maintenance services across diverse sectors. We are currently seeking a dedicated Project Cost Controller to join our dynamic Commercial Finance department. In this pivotal role, you will report to the Commercial Financial Controller and collaborate closely with the Project team to ensure the financial integrity of our projects. Your expertise will be essential in producing insightful reports, accurate forecasts, and cash flow analyses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Project teams to fully understand project plans and contractual obligations.
- Adhere to all necessary interfaces and processes, including application procedures, while providing comprehensive calculations and documentation to clients.
- Effectively manage your workload to meet set business and financial deadlines.
- Oversee and scrutinize procurement and subcontractor costs, investigating discrepancies between forecasted and budgeted expenses.
- Engage with Clients and Project Managers to resolve any overdue applications, certifications, and payments.
- Coordinate with the Finance team to furnish information necessary for journal entries, capturing late costs, provisions, and revenue recognition.
- Maintain clear communication with Project teams, ensuring all reports accurately reflect the operational and financial status of projects.
- Compile and present project financial reports, along with weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts, to the Finance and Management teams.
