This position is based in Pomona, CA, with a hybrid-remote setup requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Join us as a Project Manager at one of Southern California's largest utility companies, where you will oversee electric infrastructure projects that are vital to our communities. Within the Construction & Technical Support (C&TS) organization, you will collaborate closely with internal teams and clients, providing project and program management for Transmission and Distribution initiatives. The volume of transmission projects is expected to expand significantly in the coming years, characterized by their increasing size, complexity, and strategic importance. Given the high visibility of these projects from regulators, public and environmental agencies, and major customers, meticulous management is essential.
Your primary responsibility as a Project Manager will be to enhance project success rates by employing advanced project management principles, methodologies, tools, and standards. You will be expected to have certification as a Professional Project Manager and utilize your knowledge and experience across various functions and projects within the organization.

A typical day includes:
- Overseeing projects and programs, including facility relocations, small civil capital projects, licensing support within the Major Project Organization, compliance, maintenance, grid projects, and customer-funded initiatives.
- Coordinating activities, resources, equipment, and information vital for the successful completion of projects while maintaining project plans, reports, and technical documents. You will serve as a key point of contact for the project team, ensuring effective communication and coordination.
- Leading planning, monitoring, and management of internal projects, including complex, multi-year initiatives across various organizational units such as Finance, Regulatory, HR, Engineering, Transmission & Distribution, Legal, Customer Support, and Administrative Services, in addition to construction projects and infrastructure investments.
