Required Qualifications:Must hold a CORU-approved Social Care Worker qualification and have applied for CORU registration (evidence of application required). Demonstrable experience in social care settings at a project worker level or equivalent. Experience supporting marginalized clients or groups. Understanding of social issues affecting individuals experiencing homelessness, such as substance abuse. Ability to effectively manage and support clients in crisis and with complex needs, adhering to Focus Ireland's best practice principles. Strong teamwork abilities along with the capacity to use initiative.

Project Worker - PACT

Location: Dublin

Contract: Full Time, 2 Year Fixed Term Contract

As a Project Worker at Focus Ireland, your primary responsibility will be to deliver thorough assessment and case management services to individuals facing homelessness and complex needs, including housing, medical, mental health, and addiction-related support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to the policies and procedures of Focus Ireland, including Health & Safety and Lone Working policies.
  • Implement Standard Operating Procedures as directed by DRHE and HSE.
  • Incorporate Focus Ireland’s values and best practices into daily operations.
  • Provide support and establish therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Collaborate effectively with partner agencies and organizations engaged in the PACT initiative.
  • Conduct assessments for couples in Private Emergency Accommodation (PEAs) and new referrals, identifying needs for appropriate case management or external referrals.
  • Manage a caseload of up to 15 clients, ensuring high-quality, client-centered support.
  • Refer clients to relevant external agencies for assistance with housing, health, mental health, addiction, education, employment, legal, or social needs.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records, including PASS entries and necessary documentation.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, case reviews, supervision, and the Psychological Informed Environment (PIE) model.
  • Engage in core and role-specific training and development as agreed with your line manager.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned and report any health, safety, or welfare concerns to your line manager or Health & Safety representative.
