Your Role Will Include: Working within the overall objectives and framework of Focus Ireland. Managing a designated caseload while adhering to established care and case management protocols. Conducting assessments and reviews, and developing tailored support plans for families referred to our service. Operating within a client-centered, psychologically informed, and trauma-sensitive approach, promoting autonomy and independence. Maintaining accurate records and statistics in line with Focus Ireland's policies, while working under the supervision of line management. Establishing connections with local services and relevant community groups, and collaborating closely with emergency accommodation and housing providers. Familiarizing yourself and complying with all pertinent Focus Ireland policies, including Child Protection, Confidentiality, Customer Complaints, Health and Safety, and Personnel Policies. Being vigilant regarding health, safety, and welfare risks in the workplace and reporting any concerns to your Line Manager or Health & Safety representative. Participating in Team, Section, and Agency meetings as required. Qualifications Needed: A relevant third-level qualification at degree level, such as social care, psychology, or sociology. Demonstrated experience in a social care environment. Full clean driver’s license and access to a car (Desirable). Experience managing child protection and welfare responsibilities, responding appropriately to any concerns (Desirable). Familiarity with conducting assessments, including risk assessments (Desirable). Capability to manage challenging behaviors (Desirable).
