We’re looking for a User Acceptance Testing QA Engineer to enhance our rapidly expanding product offerings. ROLE OVERVIEW

As a pivotal member of our Quality Assurance team, you will be responsible for meticulous test planning and execution, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that each product release meets the high expectations of educators and students alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive test plans focusing on user workflows in Chrome, web applications, and real-time messaging environments.
  • Engage actively in Agile Scrum ceremonies, story definitions, and sprint planning with product and engineering teams.
  • Create test scenarios from Epics, User Stories, and acceptance criteria, with an eye for multi-device and multi-student situations that reflect real classroom dynamics.
  • Accurately identify, reproduce, and document defects while collaborating with developers and stakeholders for timely resolution.
  • Oversee UAT environments, triage issues, and ensure thorough test coverage across platforms (ChromeOS, Windows, Mac) and various school network configurations.
  • Maintain and update defect backlogs using JIRA.
  • Coordinate UAT testing efforts with internal teams, customers, and external partners, gathering feedback from educators and district IT administrators.
  • Generate test metrics and detailed reports to inform improvements.
  • Support production releases and manage the escalation process during support events.
  • Validate real-time features such as screen monitoring, device locking, and messaging for reliability in classroom conditions.

  • This is a hybrid position requiring several days of onsite work at our Austin, Texas headquarters.
