What Will You Do?
As an R&D Engineer in Operational Analyses EW, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from various disciplines and the defense sector. You will engage in a challenging blend of theoretical and practical work, conducting research on the operation and influence of EW systems for the defense and aerospace industries. Your efforts will focus on enhancing military systems to ensure safer deployments.
You will become an expert in evaluating EW systems and technologies within their operational contexts, leveraging models, synthetic, and field test data to provide clear insights. You will contribute to the development of testing and evaluation methodologies, participate in domestic and international tests, and analyze the results. You will also devise innovative solutions alongside colleagues and other (international) R&D institutes, developing your advisory skills for defense applications.
What Do You Bring?
Aspirations and creativity to translate customer challenges and emerging technological advancements into innovative, practical solutions;
A strong desire to become an expert in the operational analysis of EW systems;
Experience with modeling and evaluating EW systems is a plus;
Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB (Simulink), C, and Python is advantageous;
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English;
A curious, independent, and inventive personality.
