I. ABOUT MSF
MSF INTERNATIONAL
Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is a renowned, independent, international medical humanitarian organization dedicated to delivering emergency medical assistance to those impacted by conflict, disasters, epidemics, or exclusion from healthcare. MSF provides aid based solely on need, without regard to race, religion, gender, or political beliefs.
MSF International acts as the coordinating body for MSF’s 24 sections, 27 associations, and 18 branch offices globally. Based in Switzerland, it offers support, information, and coordination for the MSF Movement, while also executing international projects and initiatives as required.
MSF ACCESS
MSF is committed to improving the accessibility, availability, affordability, and quality of healthcare products for the populations it serves. The MSF Access team plays a critical role in this mission by identifying priority projects, implementing initiatives, and providing expert support throughout the organization.
With a focus on continuous improvement, MSF is undergoing a structural transformation to enhance its Access framework. The newly formed MSF Access structure supersedes the previous Access Campaign, broadening its scope through five strategic regional hubs:
- Dakar, Senegal: West and Central Africa.
- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil: The Americas.
- Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia: Asia and Oceania.
- Nairobi, Kenya: Eastern and Southern Africa.
- Brussels, Belgium: Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
The new structure is responsible for gathering input on common priorities for Access, designing and implementing initiatives, and providing support on Access matters to MSF entities as required.
