QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. At least 10–15 years of experience in multi-discipline estimating, ideally in life sciences, food & beverage, industrial, or commercial sectors. Solid understanding of design-build and integrated project delivery methodologies. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., WinEst, Sage Estimating, or similar). Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Willingness to travel regionally as required. Preferred SkillsExperience in construction logistics planning, schedule development, and constructability reviews. Familiarity with CRB’s core markets and project types. Leadership experience in mentoring and managing estimating teams.

About the role

The Regional Lead Estimator is pivotal in enhancing pre-construction and project development initiatives across CRB's primary sectors. This role, which is client-facing, is essential for creating precise and comprehensive cost estimates during the conceptual and schematic design stages, ensuring they align with project objectives and budgets. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and supervision of trade estimators, all aimed at facilitating successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation of conceptual and schematic cost estimates for engineering, construction, and integrated delivery projects.
  • Employ historical data, quantity take-offs, unit pricing, and systems/line count methodologies to inform estimates.
  • Effectively present cost models and estimates to both internal teams and clients, fostering transparency and trust.
  • Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and clients to ensure estimates match project scope and financial objectives.
  • Coordinate and manage trade estimators to generate detailed estimates encompassing labor, materials, and other cost elements.
  • Perform risk analyses from both CRB and client perspectives.
  • Maintain and update historical cost data and benchmarking tools for accuracy and relevance.
  • Assist in transforming opportunities into active projects during the pre-construction phase.
  • Mentor junior estimators and contribute to developing estimating standards and tools within the region.
