THE ROLE
As a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an essential member of our emergency care team, responding swiftly to a variety of cases where every moment matters. Your responsibilities will include triage, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing. You will provide both technical expertise and emotional support, being a steady presence for pet owners during their most challenging times. This position is ideal for those eager to apply their training, develop their skills, and assist in providing crucial care to pets in need.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide compassionate care to every patient and their family, ensuring they feel supported throughout the treatment process.
- Act swiftly to deliver nursing care and emotional support during critical moments, from initial triage through to discharge.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and execute advanced procedures such as IVs and blood transfusions.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to create and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Be prepared to perform CPR and other life-saving techniques, supported by our extensive training programs.
