THE JOB
As a per diem Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be an essential part of our emergency care team, where every moment matters. You will engage with a variety of cases, from minor to complex emergencies, collaborating closely with our veterinarians to provide top-tier, empathetic care. Your responsibilities will include triage, treatment, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing. You will be a steady, compassionate presence for pet parents during their most anxious times, ensuring they receive the support they need.
This position is ideal for individuals eager to apply their training, expand their skills, and make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners during critical moments.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Treat every patient and their owner with utmost care and respect, because they matter! You will support them through tests, treatments, and everything in between.
- Act decisively, delivering nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical moments, from initial triage to discharge.
- Administer medications and monitoring, showcasing your expertise from IVs to blood transfusions.
- Communicate effectively as a team player, contributing to care plans and ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Be prepared to perform CPR as a trained RECOVER professional; we prioritize training and have the highest number of RECOVER CPR professionals in the industry.
