Are you at your best when you can make a difference in someone else's life? As a Residential Support Worker or Care Support Worker, you play a vital role in creating a warm and homely environment for our residents. You are attentive to their needs and make a significant impact through small gestures within our somatic department and hospice.
Your Responsibilities
As a Residential Support Worker, you will be a familiar face within the department. You will assist residents in their daily lives, helping to provide structure and tranquility throughout the day, and offer a listening ear when needed. Your tasks will include:
Assisting with meals and creating pleasant dining experiences;
Guiding activities and daily routines;
Performing housekeeping tasks to ensure a clean and welcoming living space;
Connecting with residents to contribute to a homely atmosphere.
As a Care Support Worker, you will also assist with light care tasks such as personal hygiene, dressing, supporting with toilet use, and bedtime routines. You will work closely with colleagues to coordinate and meet the needs of each resident.
You will be working in short shifts, alternating between mornings and evenings, allowing you ample free time throughout your day.
Your Work Environment
You will be based at Regina Pacis in Arnhem, contributing to the care of residents in the Angerenstein and Hospice De Baroktuin departments. The department consists of four living rooms and forty apartments, ten of which are part of the hospice. You will be part of a team of 40 healthcare professionals. We value collaboration, a positive work atmosphere, and attention to one another, working together to provide high-quality, person-centered care.
