OVERVIEW

As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the retail store. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that the store runs smoothly and efficiently while leading a team in a high-quality, service-oriented environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team to achieve store objectives.
  • Ensure outstanding customer satisfaction through effective team management and adherence to retail standards.
  • Oversee the retail store team and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the store.
  • Identify team development needs and nurture potential future leaders.
  • Plan and prioritize all operational tasks to achieve excellence.
  • Handle all necessary store administration effectively.
  • Manage stock movements, freshness, availability, and integrity.
  • Drive the store to meet and exceed performance targets.
  • Act as the Store Manager's deputy, implementing company directives effectively.
  • Understand customer needs and deliver 'best in class' service.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet daily business goals.
  • Oversee the replenishment process to maintain stock levels.
