Role Overview: Risk in Change Manager
This is a maximum term contract role based in Sydney. The Risk in Change Manager sits within the Line 1 Business Risk Hub, working closely with Group Risk and Business Risk teams. The position focuses on managing risk throughout major projects and change initiatives, from delivery through post-implementation.
This hands-on role involves daily collaboration across functions to identify, assess, and address risks in line with AP+’s risk appetite and strategic direction. Candidates should have strong experience in risk management within change and project environments, and a track record of leading risk activities for complex initiatives.
Main Responsibilities
- Lead thorough Risk in Change assessments across all programs.
- Identify, prioritize, and manage risks related to delivery and change.
- Embed risk management practices into project and change frameworks.
Advisory and Governance
- Advise senior leaders on risk implications for programs and transformations.
- Prepare clear risk reports and actionable recommendations.
- Monitor and adjust mitigation strategies as needed.
Continuous Improvement
- Enhance Risk in Change processes and build organizational capabilities.
- Promote best practices among delivery teams.
Regulatory Engagement
- Support interactions with the Reserve Bank of Australia for significant changes.
- Assist in reviewing and developing regulatory submissions.
