Position Overview:
We are on the lookout for a skilled Robotics Application Engineer to design, customize, and facilitate the implementation of sophisticated robotic applications that meet the demands of real-world industrial scenarios. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the essential liaison between our development team and end users, ensuring our robotic systems function seamlessly in ever-changing environments. Your responsibilities will include adapting software and hardware for specific use cases, conducting field tests, and offering technical expertise to enhance system performance for intricate tasks such as bin-picking and item manipulation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Design
Identify and resolve application-level issues through collaboration with hardware and software teams.
Tailor and optimize robotic systems for specific client applications, encompassing path planning, perception, and object manipulation.
Develop and execute task-specific workflows, configurations, and behaviors for robotic systems.
Design user-friendly interfaces and tools to enhance system operation for end users.
Optimization
Perform on-site testing of robotic applications to validate their performance and reliability.
Continuously refine applications to accommodate changing client needs and enhance performance.
Provide technical support and hands-on training to clients and operators.
Engage closely with clients to identify their unique challenges and deliver customized solutions.
Document application workflows and create comprehensive user guides.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in robotics application development or integration.
Proficient programming skills in Python and C++, along with experience in task-level software development.
Hands-on experience with robotic systems and their integration into industrial environments.
