Job Summary:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at OpenGov, you will be instrumental in driving our business expansion. Your role will entail engaging with government leaders nationwide, showcasing transformative solutions that enhance community service delivery. This position requires you to devise and implement effective prospecting strategies, generate qualified leads, and facilitate product demonstrations for Account Executives. We are seeking a candidate with natural sales abilities, result-oriented motivation, and a strong commitment to developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze market trends and customer requirements to unearth new business opportunities within the public sector for OpenGov.
  • Become a proficient user of OpenGov's cloud-based platform, designed for local, state, special districts, and non-profits.
  • Craft and promote effective prospecting strategies in collaboration with Account Executives and Customer Success managers to achieve monthly quotas for scheduled demos and qualified leads.
  • Establish high-quality meetings by leveraging tools such as Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and Outreach to generate daily inbound leads, establishing credibility and rapport with potential customers.
