Role Overview: Sales Operations Specialist

The Sales Operations Specialist plays a key part in the daily financial and purchasing operations at Davis Technology Management. This position supports the company’s ability to scale by managing processes that connect accounting, procurement, billing, and inventory tracking.

This role is more than traditional bookkeeping. It acts as the operational engine for the business, ensuring smooth financial and workflow operations.

Main Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Oversee QuickBooks Online for daily accounting tasks
  • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
  • Assist with month-end closing activities
  • Monitor revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), and profit margins
  • Support both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

Billing & Revenue Workflow

  • Process accurate and timely invoices
  • Track subscription and recurring billing cycles
  • Identify missed revenue or discrepancies in billing

Purchasing & Procurement

  • Manage relationships with vendors and distributors (such as Dell, Lenovo, Pax8, TD Synnex)
  • Create and monitor purchase orders
  • Track shipments and manage backorders

Inventory & Operational Workflow

  • Maintain accurate inventory records
  • Track equipment costs and profit margins
  • Support improvements in operational efficiency
