The Sales Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in bolstering the efficiency of our Outside Sales Team, which includes Directors, Regional Managers, Channel Managers, Strategic Account Managers, and Territory Managers. This position is integral to the success of various projects and reporting initiatives that elevate the performance of the Outside Sales team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate processes, reports, systems, and initiatives pertinent to the Outside Sales Team, engaging in the long-term and short-term business planning.
- Identify and recommend enhancements to improve processes, reports, and systems related to Outside Sales.
- Prioritize and assist with executing various tasks and projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion while maintaining open communication with team members.
- Oversee functions related to reporting, marketing materials, incentive programs, training, and interdepartmental communication.
- Engage with all organizational levels, including Sales Directors, Strategic Account Managers, Territory Managers, and Account Executives, as well as contacts within customer organizations.
- Prepare and analyze detailed reports, highlighting trends and key findings to inform decision-making.
- Draft correspondence, reports, and other essential documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to the Sales Support Team and other departments as necessary.
- Utilize various software systems such as ODY, Salesforce, and Concur efficiently.
- Perform additional duties as assigned while adhering to company policies and standards.
