Position Description

ENSCO Inc. is on the lookout for a talented SATCOM Requirements Systems Engineer to join our dynamic systems engineering team. This pivotal role involves defining the next generation of space communication systems tailored to support the United States Space Force (USSF) satellite communications. The selected candidate will engage in Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) activities within a multidisciplinary and collaborative setting. Key responsibilities include interfacing and working alongside SE&I team members, contractors, government personnel, and USSF representatives. The candidate will lead and facilitate multiple working groups, driving technical discussions, identifying risks and requirement gaps, creating briefings, documenting action items, and taking meeting minutes.

The MILSATCOM Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (MSEIT) initiative provides state-of-the-art SE&I support for the US Space Force's Space Systems Center (SSC). Our mission is to assist the Space Force in acquiring advanced satellite communications systems that offer global secure, survivable, and protected communications for our nation’s military personnel. We are looking for innovative individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment, utilizing the latest tools and methodologies to address the complexities of integrating advanced space and ground communications systems. This position is based in El Segundo, CA, and includes various responsibilities, such as:

  • Supporting Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities to facilitate the development and maintenance of technical requirements.
