Job Purpose
We are seeking a motivated Finance Intern to join our dynamic Finance Team at Vivo Energy. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the maintenance and updates of the General Ledger, managing accounts payable, and tracking various finance projects. The ideal candidate will assist in the planning, execution, and follow-up of finance-related initiatives, gaining valuable experience in the finance sector.
Principal Accountabilities
- Assist the General Ledger Accounting Team in daily operations.
- Support activities related to General Ledger accounting.
- Help manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
- Conduct reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Participate actively in finance-related projects and initiatives.
- Provide assistance during month-end closing activities to ensure timely reporting.
- Prepare journals accurately and on time.
- Support the application of IFRS16 through regular reviews of lease assets.
- Collaborate with various departments on financial initiatives.
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
