About the job
Every week brings a new challenge, from troubleshooting on a ship on Monday to commissioning in a factory on Tuesday. Midweek, you'll work on a project in our factory, which you'll then assemble on-site at the client's location on Thursday and Friday. Variety is guaranteed!
Your Day at a Glance
Start your day in IJmuiden with a brief morning meeting with the service team, check materials and personal protective equipment (PPE), load the van, and set off. Your first stop is a terminal where you’ll put a lifting beam into operation. You’ll coordinate with your foreman on-site, ensure everything is aligned, and conduct safe load testing.
Tomorrow will be different: in a factory hall, you’ll assemble a piping frame, perform revisions on a winch, and prepare it for operation. You’ll work where the action is: on ships, at transshipment companies, and in factories across the country. No mass production, only customized solutions. Both new construction projects and modifications are part of your role, where your technical insight and creativity will define the project's outcome. From mono-pile grippers to dredging components, cranes, winches, and frames, you’ll create complex one-offs that will truly take to the water or be commissioned after your work. You’ll build on-site for both small projects and large equipment, with our support from IJmuiden, providing engineering and construction under one roof for quick adjustments and seamless execution.
