We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Mechanical Engineer specializing in the Oil & Gas sector to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring our quality management systems are effectively implemented and maintained across all departments.Develop and uphold the Quality Management System (QMS) framework in alignment with our organization's Quality Policy.Oversee the establishment, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the QMS within all departments.Monitor and report on the QMS performance to management, ensuring continuous improvement.Conduct internal audits, discuss findings with relevant personnel, and ensure timely closure of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and Corrective and Preventive Action Reports (CPAR).Proactively identify potential quality issues as per established processes and escalate them to management promptly.Verify that all validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications.Isolate, replicate, and document defects while confirming the efficacy of defect fixes.Manage documentation and records meticulously.Distribute controlled documents to relevant departments as needed.Ensure that quality records, acceptance certificates, and mechanical completion certificates are compiled according to project specifications.Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITP), Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and controlled formats as required by clients.Collaborate with site QC personnel to ensure completion of as-built documentation.Participate actively in QA/QC meetings.Coordinate with field QC site inspectors to address any inconsistencies in test packages.
