The Role
As a Senior Account Executive, you will identify, generate, qualify, and close new business opportunities within a designated territory. You will oversee the complete sales lifecycle and develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy that encompasses both direct and indirect business efforts.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture new and existing accounts in your territory.
- Construct and maintain a territory sales plan that serves as your roadmap to success.
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales quotas by proactively prospecting across all product lines and engaging with both new and existing clients.
- Manage sales forecasting, lead generation, prospecting, and account management throughout the sales cycle.
- Ensure accurate Whitespace data is maintained for customer and target prospect accounts.
- Collaborate closely with the Vice President, Sales Engineers, Partner Account Managers, and the wider team to achieve strategic objectives.
- Work in alignment with the Channel team and Channel Partners to deliver value to our customers and BeyondTrust whenever possible.
- Partner with the Sales Development Representative team to proactively cover your total addressable market, including both focused and non-focused accounts.
- Participate in corporate trade shows and events.
- Maintain active sales pipeline activities within Salesforce.
- Conduct product demonstrations and detailed presentations for prospects, customers, and partners.
- Lead responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for your assigned accounts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of customer-facing sales experience in security, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Management, or related IT software.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
- Established network and relationships with senior IT professionals.
- Exceptional communication and influencing capabilities.
- Willingness to travel within the designated region.
- Fluency in both French and English, spoken and written.
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of recognized sales training programs (e.g., Sandler, SPIN, DISC, TAS, Miller).
