Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:Ph. D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or a Master’s degree with 2-3 years of relevant professional experience. Deep expertise in Time Series Foundation Models (beyond traditional forecasting tasks). Extensive experience in signal processing for sensor data and its integration with deep learning techniques. Proficient in Python and PyTorch, including libraries such as torchaudio, torchvision, and torchmetrics; familiarity with PyTorch Lightning is a plus. A robust publication record in esteemed venues such as ICASSP, NeurIPS, InterSpeech, ICML, ICLR, KDD, ICRA, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, or equivalent contributions like patents or significant open-source projects. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills. Preferred Qualifications:3+ years of experience in industrial research. Experience with advanced driver assistance systems or related AI applications.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and conduct pioneering research on AI initiatives that label, predict, classify, cluster, describe, and integrate multi-sensor data, including acoustic, telemetry time-series signals, vibration, radar, lidar, image, Wi-Fi, and ultrasound data, aimed at enhancing Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in vehicles and AI functionalities across various Bosch products.
  • Design, architect, and validate multi-modal deep learning models and Time Series Foundation Models (TSFM) that effectively handle multivariate time-series signals, with proficiency in both low and high-frequency models.
  • Enhance time-series models by integrating auxiliary modalities such as video and image data to improve contextual understanding.
  • Provide expert insights to management regarding technological advancements, contributing to strategic planning, R&D direction, and investment decisions.
  • Remain informed about cutting-edge technological developments, and document and share research findings through high-impact publications and patent applications.
