Key Responsibilities
Client & Business Engagement
Serve as the primary Audio Visual (AV) subject matter expert for clients and internal teams.
Conduct comprehensive needs assessments to recommend scalable AV solutions tailored to client requirements.
Showcase AV technologies, including video conferencing and collaboration platforms, to stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into detailed technical system designs.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and integration partners.
AV System Design & Engineering
Design and engineer enterprise-level AV systems, including:
Video conferencing rooms (Huddle, Conference, Boardroom, Training Rooms).
Collaboration spaces and multi-purpose environments.
Digital signage and integrated AV systems.
Expertise required in:
Cisco video conferencing solutions (Room Series, Codec platforms).
Poly collaboration systems.
Cisco Webex.
Microsoft Teams.
Zoom.
Additional responsibilities encompass:
Signal flow design.
Network integration.
DSP configuration concepts.
Control systems integration.
Project Management & Leadership
Lead AV projects from initial concept through to successful completion.
Manage both internal technicians and external integration partners.
Develop comprehensive project timelines, milestones, and resource plans.
Coordinate effectively with IT, networking, facilities, and construction teams.
Ensure project delivery is on time, within scope, and budget.
Proactively identify and mitigate technical and operational risks.
Bill of Materials & Commercial Review
Create detailed Bills of Materials (BoM) for AV systems.
Validate vendor quotations and assess equipment compatibility.
Ensure alignment with project scope and budgetary constraints.
Support procurement and cost optimization initiatives.
Documentation & Reporting
Clearly define project scope for clients and integration teams.
Produce comprehensive technical documentation and system diagrams.
Prepare completion reports, including:
As-built documentation.
Equipment lists.
Test results.
Client sign-off documentation.
Installation Oversight & Technical Support
Oversee AV installation and commissioning processes.
Support system testing and user acceptance phases.
Troubleshoot issues related to video conferencing and AV integration.
Provide end-user training and executive-level technical support.
