ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and sustain backend systems that support Uniswap Labs' shared services. Write high-quality, well-tested code, and provide code reviews for team members. Offer technical leadership and guidance to peers in making architectural and coding decisions. Lead strategic technical initiatives across engineering teams that influence the broader engineering organization. Enhance developer productivity and system reliability through automation and best practices. Requirements6+ years of software engineering experience, especially in infrastructure. Proficiency in TypeScript, Go, or Rust. Strong coding abilities, in-depth knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, algorithms, and debugging skills. Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale cloud production systems with a focus on high availability. A track record of building systems from scratch in a 0→1 context. A passion for developing scalable, reliable systems that facilitate high-quality feature development. Preferred Qualifications:Experience or strong interest in infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Pulumi). Familiarity with distributed systems, authentication, and developer tools. A degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
