Convera, a global leader in commercial payments facilitating international business through seamless money transfers, is on the lookout for a passionate and driven Senior Business Development Manager to bolster our B2B sales efforts in Montreal.
The Role
We invite dynamic, resilient, and competitive professionals to develop a diverse pipeline of SME, Corporate, and Blue-Chip clients, pinpointing and securing business opportunities within the Growth Payments sector in Canada.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive strategic sales planning and spearhead business development initiatives.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive sales strategies to broaden the client base and achieve sales goals.
- Oversee the complete 360-degree sales process independently.
- Stay updated on the FX market, compliance standards, legislative changes, and broader economic trends to effectively meet client needs.
- Identify and address customer challenges to tailor Convera solutions that align with their goals.
- Utilize market data and Convera’s unique value proposition to discover new leads and opportunities, ensuring a steady pipeline.
- Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue targets and provide regular reports to drive growth and retention, while collaborating on sales strategies with product partners.
- Engage potential clients in the SME and Corporate sectors in collaboration with partners, guided by the Head of Desk or Sales Leaders.
- Actively pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking events, referrals, exhibitions, and strategic partnerships.
- Leverage sales tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and ZoomInfo for lead generation.
- Present and demonstrate international payment solutions and products to influential decision-makers.
- Introduce relevant support functions such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Corporate Hedging management to clients.
- Foster and sustain long-term relationships with organizations, partners, and advisors within the employer services industry.
- Collaborate with Convera’s partnership teams to cultivate a robust external network of Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) partners.
- Provide ongoing consultation and support to guarantee client satisfaction and retention.
- Manage new clients until they transition to dedicated account management.
