We seek a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager with a minimum of 8 years of sales experience within the Perth market. You should be a self-starter, driven, and results-oriented, possessing a successful sales track record. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the following competencies:In-depth understanding of the Perth IT market with a strong network at the C-suite level across government and corporate sectors. Comprehensive knowledge of Cloud solutions (AWS and Azure) and Networking, with technical acumen to grasp new offerings and services. Proven success in managing extended sales cycles, including RFP responses and collaboration with Datacom’s pre-sales team, line-of-business owners, and solution architects. Quick qualification of opportunities and an ability to stay current with vendor knowledge and training. Skill in conveying technical information to varied audiences effectively. Exceptional customer and vendor relationship management abilities. Strong negotiation and influencing skills. Ability to support and enhance existing strategic vendor partnerships to keep Datacom at the forefront of opportunities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Salesforce for sales tracking and opportunity progression.

Role Overview

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will serve as Datacom's ambassador to a diverse clientele, including both government and corporate sectors. Your primary focus will be to advocate for our extensive range of IT services while identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.

Your innovative spirit and creativity will be essential in achieving or surpassing sales targets, particularly in promoting our Cloud (AWS and Azure) and Networking solutions. Your deep understanding of the unique Perth market, coupled with your proven experience in engaging with government agencies and corporate clients, will position you as a top performer in this role. Your success will also hinge on your ability to foster and sustain robust relationships with customers, partners, and vendors.
