The Consulting Engineer will serve as a project manager for various small to medium-sized projects, which include new designs as well as assessments, investigations, and repair designs for existing structures. This role involves managing significant single projects or multiple projects while overseeing several staff members and maintaining client relations. It is crucial for this candidate to foster professional connections within their area of expertise through associations and committees. Responsibilities include climbing ladders and scaffolds, working at heights, and traveling to job sites via car, train/subway, or air.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support senior staff in design, site evaluations, and documentation of existing conditions.
- Investigate and remedy failures in building envelopes.
- Provide design and construction support for various projects.
