Role Overview: Senior Data Engineer (Remote)
This fully remote position offers the chance to shape and advance firsthand’s data infrastructure. As the senior-most data engineer, you will join a small engineering team (three data engineers within a five-person department) and report directly to the CTO. The role centers on technical leadership and hands-on work, not people management, giving you broad ownership and the ability to set high standards for the data platform.
What You Will Do
- Drive improvements and new features for the data platform, focusing on stability, automation, and scalability.
- Enable peer specialists, social workers, and nurse practitioners to plan care efficiently by ensuring timely, personalized data delivery.
- Work with a modern tech stack: Snowflake, DBT (Cloud), Airflow, Python, Fivetran, and Hightouch.
- Identify and implement enhancements to operational systems supporting healthcare delivery.
- Collaborate closely with a small, mission-driven engineering team.
