Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Microsoft SQL Server operations, including replication, backup/restore processes, capacity planning, reporting services, analysis services, and integration services.
- Lead database migration efforts from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2016.
- Provide comprehensive systems administration support, including planning, executing, testing, installing, and configuring new hardware and software.
- Propose and implement solutions for SQL performance enhancement and monitoring.
- Implement, deploy, and support Microsoft technologies such as Visual Studio Framework, VB. NET, ASP. NET, and web services.
- Support visualization technologies like VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V, including virtual machine creation and configuration.
- Conduct backups of web, application, and database servers according to MPA policies, including daily incremental and full weekly backups of all server volumes.
- Monitor database activities, manage space, and provide extended support for database systems as needed.
