The Senior Embedded Algorithms Engineer will play a pivotal role in prototyping and implementing algorithms for BioIntelliSense's devices, focusing on the extraction of vital signs. Ensuring the quality of data at this stage is crucial for enabling downstream clinical intelligence and achieving timely delivery of products is integral to our success.
Responsibilities:
- Prototype Algorithms:
- Investigate novel techniques for vital sign signal extraction using high-frequency sensor data.
- Collaborate with the product team to define algorithm requirements and establish testing metrics.
- Rapidly iterate to develop algorithm prototypes and communicate performance trade-offs.
- Productize Algorithms:
- Translate algorithms into C and optimize computations to meet processor and power constraints.
- Develop data collection test protocols and perform quality assurance to ensure product compliance with requirements.
- Team Infrastructure Contribution:
- Conceive new tools to automate algorithm benchmarking and testing, boosting team efficiency.
