Role Summary
In the capacity of Senior Front End Engineer at Cytora, you will be instrumental in shaping the evolution of our product. Collaborating closely with UX designers, frontend and backend engineers, and product managers, you will contribute to the development of our primary Insurtech offering. Your role will encompass stakeholder management, proactive initiative-taking, influencing product roadmaps, and working alongside our UX design team to establish best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Engage with a dynamic team to design and sustain full-stack Typescript production-grade web applications.
Leverage your proficiency in JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React and Redux to deliver features timely and of exceptional quality.
Exhibit a robust understanding of agile principles, contributing to a streamlined and cooperative development process.
Collaborate with backend engineers to ensure API contracts are effectively designed and fit for purpose.
Maintain keen attention to detail and empathy for end-users, working with UX teams to deliver compelling user experiences.
Qualifications:
Extensive experience in developing and maintaining full-stack JavaScript production-grade web applications.
Practical experience with various JavaScript frameworks and libraries.
Familiarity with functional programming paradigms and their practical applications, including patterns like the “singleton pattern” where applicable.
A collaborative team player, comfortable working with diverse teams while also being capable of autonomous work.
A belief in collective success and the importance of fostering team cohesion and culture.
