Role Overview
We are in search of a seasoned Senior Fund Controller who will act as a vital financial leader within a company that is evolving from a service-oriented model to a technology-driven platform. In this pivotal role, you will not only oversee complex venture fund structures but also enhance our systems, standards, and controls to facilitate scalable growth.
Your responsibilities will extend beyond conventional fund administration. You will be the primary accounting authority, collaborating closely with General Partners, managing technical escalations, and clarifying intricate matters such as waterfalls, carry accruals, side letters, and multi-entity structures. An executive presence and the ability to engage confidently with senior fund managers are imperative. We seek an individual who can defend accounting positions and maintain composure under pressure.
This is a leadership-track position. As our organization grows, you will contribute to shaping our financial operating framework, mentoring fund accounting team members, and partnering with Compliance, Treasury, and Product teams to enhance automation and minimize operational risk.
