What You Will Be DoingDesigning and developing electrical circuits and Printed Circuit Boards (PCB) incorporating technologies such as processors, memory, networking interfaces, analog sensors, motor control, board-level power, and charging electronics for ChargePoint’s innovative products. Delivering designs that are optimized across various dimensions, including cost, reliability, and functionality. Leading board-level architecture initiatives and translating block diagrams into detailed sub-components, circuits, and board designs. Developing from basic (discrete) circuit designs to comprehensive system designs, overseeing these systems through to volume manufacturing and field deployment. What You Will Bring to ChargePointExpertise in electrical/electronic design and a solid understanding of board-level engineering trade-offs. Hands-on experience in the design and implementation of embedded processors, high-speed interfaces, memory, power, analog sensing, and control circuits. Proficiency with CAD tools for boards, schematics, simulation, and PCB layout. Demonstrated ability to test and validate electrical designs, documenting successful results and performance margins. Inventive problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
