Lead end-to-end model development for targeted areas, encompassing data curation, training, evaluation, and deployment. Produce high-quality production ML code to facilitate scalable training, evaluation, and inference processes. Assess model performance across various driving conditions, identify potential failure modes, and enhance robustness and generalization capabilities. Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of large-scale training pipelines.

Team Overview

In the role of Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Camera Systems, you will be instrumental in the development and deployment of machine learning models that enable camera-based perception for autonomous trucks. The Camera Models team is responsible for creating and refining core vision systems that empower our autonomy stack to comprehend the environment, detect and localize objects, and reconstruct scene structures using camera data.

Your collaboration with cross-functional teams in perception, data, and infrastructure will involve taking ownership of the development and enhancement of robust, scalable camera-based models that ensure safe and dependable autonomous driving in real-world freight scenarios.

This position emphasizes the ownership of model development for targeted problem domains, iterative system performance improvements, and the delivery of production-ready machine learning solutions within the autonomy framework.
