We are currently seeking an accomplished Senior Manager of Security to lead our exceptional security engineering team, reporting directly to the Director of Security.
The Security Engineering team at Vanta plays a vital role in delivering security operational services, engaging in software development processes, establishing enterprise-wide security policies and standards, and providing advisory services to help our business flourish while effectively managing risks.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and nurture a team of world-class security engineers, fostering a security approach that is engineering-driven, human-centric, and trust-based.
Define and implement the strategy for Vanta’s application security program, empowering the team to establish robust security protocols and proactively address emerging threats.
Utilize AI to enhance team efficiency and elevate the maturity of Vanta's overall security program.
Collaborate with the Engineering and Product Development teams to evaluate and communicate acceptable risk levels, mitigate risks, and ensure security is embedded in Vanta's product development.
Provide expert feedback to the Product, Engineering, and Design teams regarding our product offerings, ensuring the customer perspective is integrated into product development.
Act as a trusted security thought leader, representing Vanta’s products and vision in public security forums.
