We are actively searching for a skilled Senior Network Engineer to join our client, a global frontrunner in the technology and media sector, on a full-time, permanent basis. In this pivotal role, you will lead the global network and telecom team, taking charge of technical planning and carrier services. Managing operations in over 20 countries, you will specifically focus on implementing and supporting network infrastructure across North American sites. Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer sophisticated data network solutions, serving as a technical resource to resolve complex issues.
- Facilitate high client satisfaction by engaging in Change Management Processes, Design Reviews, and collaborative meetings.
- Coordinate and implement multiple projects efficiently.
- Participate in the design and support of Internet connections, VPNs, Firewalls, and IDS/IPS.
- Transform conceptual ideas into comprehensive network designs.
- Apply knowledge of networking standards and practices including ANSI, IETF, ISO, ITU-T, IEEE, and NIST.
- Design, implement, and configure IP routing protocols such as BGP-4, ISIS, and OSPF.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while fostering teamwork.
- Create network diagrams, proposals, and bills of materials, assisting in the selection of networking devices to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with corporate departments, local system personnel, and contractors to oversee the installation and deployment of networking equipment.
- Assist in developing project scope documents alongside project teams. Limited to no travel is required.
