About the job
Anduril Industries is at the forefront of defense technology, dedicated to revolutionizing U. S. and allied military capabilities through innovative technology. By integrating the expertise and business models of today's most cutting-edge firms, Anduril is reshaping the design, production, and distribution of military systems. Our comprehensive systems are driven by Lattice OS, an AI-enhanced operating system that synthesizes vast data streams into a real-time, 3D command and control environment. As global strategic competition escalates, Anduril is committed to delivering state-of-the-art autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technologies to military applications in a matter of months, rather than years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
Within Anduril, the Tactical Recon & Strike (TRS) division focuses on two key missions: developing highly advanced autonomous drones and producing solid rocket motors at scale. We take innovative products such as Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius from initial concepts to fully operational capabilities by collaborating closely with specialized engineering, operations, and production teams. Through our Anduril Rocket Motor Systems (RMS) team, we design and manufacture solid rocket motors utilizing advanced materials and proprietary formulations to ensure safe, reliable propulsion systems that meet a wide array of mission needs.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Program Manager, Product Operations to act as a pivotal leader within the TRS division. This role transcends traditional program management; you will engage as a strategic problem-solver tasked with addressing critical business issues, facilitating the maturation of products for high-rate production, and spearheading transformative internal initiatives.
The ideal candidate embodies a "Six Sigma Black Belt" mentality, adept at dissecting complex operational challenges, utilizing data to drive informed decisions, and implementing robust processes to foster scalability and efficiency. You will serve as the vital connection between product development and full-scale production, ensuring our systems are designed not only for optimal performance but also for manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Success in this role will depend on your ability to:
- Execute with Precision: Delve into ambiguous and intricate operational issues, identify root causes, and drive solutions to fruition.
- Optimize and Mature: Lead the transition of products from development to production readiness, emphasizing process optimization, operational excellence, continuous improvement, design for manufacturability (DFM), and supply chain stability.
