Code and Theory is seeking a Senior Project Manager to guide a major Adobe Workfront implementation. This position can be based in New York or remote. The role centers on leading a delivery pod through a complex migration across a network of approximately 75 agencies.
Role overview
This position manages the full project lifecycle, from discovery through go-live. The Senior Project Manager ensures that Workfront configuration, integrations, and dependencies are sequenced effectively and that governance standards are met. The work is highly client-facing, requiring clear communication and coordination with agency stakeholders and partner teams.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee project planning, including scheduling, milestones, and stage-gate contributions from start to finish.
- Create and adapt detailed work plans reflecting configuration order, integration sequencing, and dependencies as project needs change.
- Run structured project meetings, track action items, and ensure accountability within the delivery pod.
- Manage backlog and coordinate handoffs with related pods, such as Hypercare, Enhancement, and Foundational Governance.
- Work with the System Architect to document impacts, process change requests, and handle formal Change Control with thorough assessments.
- Identify and escalate risks, scope changes, and resource gaps, providing strategies to keep the project on track.
- Maintain ongoing communication with agency stakeholders to align on expectations and confirm readiness at each stage.
- Ensure all documentation, deliverables, and approvals are complete and compliant before moving through stage gates.
- Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), define test approaches with subject matter experts, manage test cycles, and drive sign-off for deliverables.
- Support rollout and transition for agencies, coordinating with enablement and hypercare teams to ensure successful adoption.
- Contribute to statements of work (SOW) by clarifying scope, deliverables, milestones, dependencies, and out-of-scope items.
- Assist with change orders and scope expansions, documenting impacts and securing stakeholder approvals.
- Operate with a client-focused approach, ensuring billable engagements are managed efficiently.
