Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Market Validation: Identify and validate market opportunities in the Wealth Management and Private Banking sectors (including private banks, asset managers, and retirement planning). Conduct structured discovery and market validation discussions (e.g., with CIOs, Heads of Wealth Management, product managers) to understand pain points, budgets, and priorities. Derive concrete use cases, value propositions, and go-to-market approaches in collaboration with internal stakeholders. Actively build new opportunity sources, even without existing products (“from zero to pipeline”). Leverage your existing network in the financial services industry (especially in the DACH region) to open doors at the decision-maker level. Position us as a relevant partner in the market (thought leadership, peer-level sparring, avoiding classic “product sales” logic). Sales and Deal Closing:Oversee the entire sales cycle for custom software projects, from qualification to closure. Develop and close complex deals in the enterprise environment (custom software, transformation, integration). Manage the entire proposal process including pre-sales, delivery, pricing, and contract negotiations. Maintain transparency regarding pipeline, forecasts, and deal risks with management and delivery teams. Your Profile8 to 12 years of experience in enterprise sales and business development within the financial services sector. Focus on Wealth Management, Private Banking, Asset Management, or related segments. Proven experience in building business from early phases (not just “run-the-business” sales). Experience in selling complex software/IT projects.
