The Role

In your capacity as a Senior Sales Engineer at Gray Swan, you will spearhead technical pre-sales initiatives for our AI security platform. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will assist enterprise customers in assessing how to secure, govern, and deploy advanced AI systems effectively in their production environments.

You will collaborate closely with Account Executives on complex, high-stakes opportunities, taking ownership of the technical narrative from initial discovery through to closing. This role demands a high level of technical credibility, keen commercial instincts, and the ability to distill complex AI security risks into clear, compelling solutions for both technical and executive audiences.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role in dynamic environments where clients are often defining their AI security strategies for the first time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the technical lead on enterprise sales opportunities, collaborating with Account Executives to develop and execute effective deal strategies.

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with customer security, AI, and platform teams to assess architectures, threat models, and operational limitations.

  • Establish technical win strategies that include solution designs, evaluation plans, and success metrics.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders throughout the purchasing process.

Expertise in AI Security & Solution Development

  • Clearly communicate and demonstrate how the Gray Swan platform identifies vulnerabilities in AI systems and the measures required to mitigate these risks.
