About the Role:
Following our acquisition of Securiti AI, a frontrunner in AI-driven data security posture management (DSPM), Veeam is on the lookout for a Senior Sales Engineer to provide technical leadership within our sales team, particularly focusing on the Securiti AI product line. You will collaborate with a Securiti Sales Specialist and support 3-5 Account Executives and Veeam Solution Engineers, acting as the technical subject matter expert.
Your role will involve guiding customers through their needs assessment to solution design, delivering engaging demos and proof-of-concepts that highlight our value proposition. Success in this position hinges on your robust technical skills and capacity to establish trust with clients.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the primary technical liaison for Securiti AI solutions throughout the sales process.
- Facilitate technical discussions and provide customized security solutions.
- Address customer requirements in data discovery, posture management, and compliance.
- Design and deliver product demonstrations and proof-of-concepts.
- Work closely with product, engineering, and customer success teams to ensure seamless transitions.
What You'll Bring:
- Significant experience in pre-sales or sales engineering roles.
- Deep understanding of data and/or cloud security.
- Strong communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
- 10+ years of technical sales experience in security.
- 15+ years in Software/SaaS/Enterprise technical sales.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with data privacy/security standards (e.g., GDPR, NIST 800-53, ISO 27001).
