Key Responsibilities:1. Security Incident Management and Response:Monitoring Security Events: Continuously observe security event logs and alerts from diverse sources, including SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP alerts, and threat intelligence feeds. Event Triage and Prioritization: Assess the severity, criticality, and potential impact of security events for escalation. Advanced Incident Investigation and Handling: Conduct in-depth analyses of complex security incidents to identify root causes, scope, and impact while developing effective mitigation strategies. Incident Response Management: Lead incident response initiatives, collaborating across departments such as Engineering, ServiceDesk, Data Privacy, InfoSec, HR, and Legal to devise and implement comprehensive response plans. Pursuit of Continuous Improvement: Engage in evaluating and enhancing SOC processes and playbooks, identifying improvement opportunities, sharing insights, and integrating lessons learned from incidents to advance SOC operational effectiveness. Reporting and Communication: Regularly report to SOC management on emerging threats and ongoing security initiatives while maintaining effective communication with other departments and stakeholders.

Role Overview

Position: Senior Security Operations Analyst

Location: São Paulo (Hybrid: 4 days in the office, 1 day remote each week)

This position focuses on security operations for Ebury’s payment processing in Brazil. The analyst works closely with senior colleagues to identify threats, manage risks, and put security measures in place. The role requires hands-on use of security tools and cloud platforms, including AWS and GCP. A key responsibility is to refine logging and monitoring frameworks, supporting both regulatory compliance and Ebury’s international growth.
