Our mission is to eliminate barriers to electricity generation and consumption through scalable, innovative, and cost-effective hardware solutions, accelerating the electrification of all aspects of life.

Our primary focus is on developing advanced converters (inverters & rectifiers) that integrate large-scale renewable energy sources, storage systems, and energy loads into the grid. Our leadership team comprises experienced professionals who have successfully designed and launched gigawatts of power conversion products over the past decade.

We believe in the collective potential of our team. Emphasizing continuous learning, we foster a collaborative environment that supports personal, technical, and career growth. Expect a dynamic, team-oriented workplace where first-principle engineering drives the resolution of complex challenges.

Job Responsibilities

As a Senior/Staff Manufacturing Engineer specializing in Advanced Processes, you will spearhead the development, testing, and scaling of high-volume manufacturing for our power electronics assemblies. This pivotal role will involve leading the evolution of complex manufacturing technologies and overseeing process and equipment development for advanced automation/robotics, chemical handling systems related to thermal interface materials and thermal gap fillers, as well as plastics and metals assembly and surface treatments.

You will work closely with product, mechanical, and electrical design teams from the outset, employing a first-principles approach to design for manufacturability (DFM) and ensuring robust product and manufacturing line performance through feedback loops. Collaborating with external suppliers and equipment partners, you will ensure the establishment of scalable, reliable, and highly repeatable manufacturing processes, managing them from concept through to production ramp-up.

Your Contributions

  • Lead the development of manufacturing lines across multiple process and equipment technologies from concept to ramp-up.

  • Design and enhance processes for thermal interface materials, thermal gap fillers, pottants, and associated dispense, conveyance, and handling systems.

  • Establish surface treatment processes for plastics and metals, including plasma/corona treatment, solvent/chemical cleaning, and adhesion preparation.

  • Specify and validate advanced joining techniques such as ultrasonic welding, laser welding/brazing, and vibration welding.
